Summary of Class Presentation of February 1, 1999 We covered pages 498 - 505 of the textbook. The first portion of the class was devoted to a brief overview of Black Box Unit Testing. There are a variety of methods for doing this type of testing which were discussed earlier in the course. THe procedure for performing black box testing was presented. The majority of the period involved an explanation of Integration Testing. The major different forms of integration testing: depth-first top-down, breadth-first top-down, bottom-up, and combinations ( sandwich testing) were presented. Finally, the notion of regression testing was explained.
