Converting a PostScript page into an image
startup xv and ghostview,
$xv&
$ghostview your-file.ps
Display the desired page in ghostview.
Then cursor to the xv window, right mouse click.
This will bring up xv's control panel. Select grab from this panel,
select either the desired window with a left mouse click or
a rectangle with a middle click and drag.
If you got too much, either re-grab or crop. You
do this by selecting the desired area in the xv image window.
Left mouse click and drag to pick a rectangle of interest in the
window and then select crop from the control panel.
Select save from the control panel and save in either gif or jpg formats.
