You need to have a SOD cluster account.

Go to student services, the UNIX services, sign up dor a UNIX account.
The SOD cluster is in 150B IACC.  The machines are PC's
running Linux version of UNIX.
The help desk page also has pointers to some documents that help with
using UNIX.
