Demo of your work
To demo your work, if you are working on Windows,
you need to either bring in a floppy or Zip disk of your program.
VTK is NOT installed on the classroom machine, so the program has to
run in a self standing mode. If you are working on the
SOD cluster copy a working program, and the support files to the demo area.
We have set up directories for each person who signed up on the list
at the start of the term.
My UNIX id is "juell", so I will copy to the /home/juell directory.
For this example, I had two files, temp and s-s55.ppm. So to set up the
demo I did the following:
Script started on Tue Sep 3 18:05:56 2002
[juell@cb10 vtk312-temp]$ cp temp /home/cs458/juell
[juell@cb10 vtk312-temp]$ cp s-s55.ppm /home/cs458/juell
[juell@cb10 vtk312-temp]$ cd /home/cs458/juell
[juell@cb10 juell]$ ls
s-s55.ppm temp
[juell@cb10 juell]$ temp
