Help take down Scandinavian Festival - 4:30 – 6:30 or finish

Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead

 

This activity will involve assisting with the take down of Scandinavian Festival booths and exhibits both inside and outside of the Hjemkomst Center.  You will also be helping with cleaning the building and clearing the grounds of any litter.  Coordinators for this event greatly appreciate your help, as the majority of the committee members are senior citizens.

River Keepers Living Lab – 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

You will be doing work for the Storm Drain Marking program. You will work in small groups to put curb markers on the storm drains that say 'no dumping, drains to river' and distribute door hangers to the streets that are marked that tell people what not to put down the storm drain and why. 

Wear work clothes & bring mosquito spray.
