“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people
can change the world, indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

NOTE: *The Group Decision Center (GDC) is a facility located in the NDSU Memorial Union, designed to help groups discuss issues. Through the use of technology, participants anonymously “discuss” issues and reach solutions in a neutral, non-threatening environment. The results are compiled in a written report. Governor School students will discuss issues related to being a teen in their community. ** Students will learn about volunteer opportunities in the Fargo, West Fargo, and Moorhead area and how to get involved in their own communities. They will have an opportunity to provide service to people of all ages through agencies such as: the Scandinavian Festival, Habitat ReStore, River Keepers, Children’s Museum, Salvation Army, and Bethany Homes.
