Sub-spherical cells. Coenobia often held together by remnants of old

mother cell wall (syncoenobia). Cell wall with fine granules.

Similar to Pseudotetrastrum punctatum (Schmidle) Hindak 77, but with smaller granules and

better defined coenobia.
