Culture started 12/21/01 - Woods Hole medium

Gloeocystis-type cells forming masses of cells. Pyrenoids and numerous starch granules in plastids.

2 or 4 autospores. No flagellate cells seen. Very fragile cells easily broken by the cover slip.
