Eustigmatophyte. Large spherical coccoid with one or more orange bodies (vacuoles) in cytosol.

Many refractive granules. Larger cells break easily, causing the orange body to lose its

nearly spherical shape .

Pictures brightfield, with 40x and 100x objectives.
