Notes on Tow 2-24 P-1d

Coccoid in clumps, similar to Tow 2/24 P-12d. No connecting strands among cells.

Lots of starch grains (?) make viewing somewhat difficult. No pyrenoid seen.

Cells divide to produce two hemispherical cells

which subsequently become spherical. What appear to be mother cell walls observed.

Multiple lenticular plastids.
