Small, elongate coccoid, occasionally somewhat bean-shaped. Parietal chloroplast, somewhat band-shaped. No pyrenoid. Autosporulation not seen. Cells often in pairs aligned along the long axes. This may not be an autosporic coccoid.  Morphology similar to Choricystis.
