culture started 1/9/01

Very small elongate cells.  Often in pairs aligned along long axes.  Looks like autospore production, but not positive.  Some structures that may be old mother cell walls.  If autosporic, 2 autospores per.  Chloroplast typically in one end of cells.  No pyrenoids.

Has not amplified.  Looks like Itas 9/21 14-9w, which also has not amplified.   rbcL type I.  See Itas 9/21 14-9w.
