Culture started 3/29/02

Although superficially resembling Pseudodictyosphaerium, this isolate may be

the "clam-shell" plastid organism. Cytoplasm and/or plastid with grainy structure,

young cells look very much like Mychonastes or Pseudodictyosphaerium. 4 autospores.

Many cells in clumps, but no mucilage.
