Very large coccoid.  Nearly spherical always.  Lots of large inclusions, like egg yolks.  Plastids a twisted band or multiple plastids?  Autospores not observed, but what could be old mother cell walls are present.

Culture started 6/13/02

Large spherical coccoid.  Perforated plastid with buff-colored body.  Some cells have small
red bodies, more crystaline than droplets.  May be a eustigmatophyte.

Culture started 6/13/02, grown up in WH

Nearly spherical to angular cells.  Multiple lenticular plastids without pyrenoids or granules.
Probably a eustigmatophyte because of the presence of a yellowish body in the cytoplasm.
Reproduction not observed, but probably autosporic.  Old mother cell walls sometimes attached or
associated with cells.
