| Dr.
Edward L. Deckard was born and raised on a farm near Cynthiana,
Indiana. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this area,
Cynthiana is located in the southern part of the state, near
Kentucky. Ed has enjoyed a career at North Dakota State University
for the past 30 years. He is married and has three children.
He encourages you to visit when possible or send e-mail messages.
He very much enjoys hearing from students. In addition to
PLSC 110, Ed also teaches PLSC 491, Sophomore Seminar; PLSC
455/655, Cropping Systems: An Integrated Aproach; PLSC 755,
Applied Crop Physiology; and UNIV 496, Problems of World Hunger.
