| Dr.
Edward Lee Deckard was born and raised
on a farm near Cynthiana, Indiana. For those of you who are unfamiliar
with this area, Cynthiana is located in the southern part of the
state, near Kentucky. Ed has enjoyed a career at North Dakota
State University for the past 34 years. He is married and has
a lovely wife, and three beautiful children. He encourages you
to visit when possible or send e-mail messages. He very much enjoys
hearing from students. In addition to PLSC 110, Ed also teaches
PLSC 491, Sophomore Seminar; PLSC 455/655, Cropping Systems: An
Integrated Aproach; PLSC 755, Applied Crop Physiology; and UNIV
