Course Objectives and Metodology This course presents a study of current nutrition fact and philosophy, including changes that have taken place in the field of nutrition. The challenge will be to learn how to evaluate the nutrition facts as consumers of nutrition information. It is the intent that students will begin to understand what they know about nutrition and apply what they have learned into their daily life. Hence, the student will enhance her/his own nutrition and health as a consequence of information obtained in this course Disabilities: Any student with disabilities, or others who need special accomodations in this class, are invited to share their concerns or requests with the instructor as soon as possible.
