Today was a day of rest and recuperation for our group  from Normandy, so we did not have class until 10:45a.m. but met until 5:00p.m., which we feel is too late, but something we have to do.
After class Kelsey, tara, Kate, Liz and I walked downtown to have a cocktail.  We had a good time just talking and sharing some of our experiences thus far.

When we left we decided to stop for a pastry; this is a daily ritual for us.  We believe that a day is not complete without stopping at a Patisserie.

eating

My favorite pastry is "pain au chocolat" - a warm piece of flaky crust of bread with chocolate buried inside.  Mmmmmm!!!  Eating leads to shopping...for a few hours.  Liz and I then decided that is was time to go home for dinner with our families.  When I got home I discovered that my family was going out for dinner to a French restaurant and invited me to go with them.

We sat down for dinner at 8:05pm and got up from the table at 11:55pm.  It is very hard to sit there that long; especially when you don't understand a work that they are saying.  I got home and went straight to bed!  All in all, it was a wonderful day!

This is just some of us hanging out at a few of the neat places we have found.  The picture on the left is actually a "cave" and we are meeting other exchanged students from different countries such as Ireland and Greece.  Their French is better than ours...this is very helpful at times.
