Camping: Fort Ransom State Park; tent/ground sheet or tent space arranged; sleeping bag and pad (remember to pack a ground sheet).
Personal: change of clothing; warm jacket; hat and gloves; sun glasses; sun screen; lip gloss; headlamp/flashlight
Meals: food for dinner/breakfast/ lunch (Bring supplies for 1 breakfast (Sunday); 1 lunch (Saturday); 1 dinner (Saturday); lunch Sunday in Fort Ransom
Gear day pack; water bottle;digital camera; field notebook / pencils; rock hammer (borrow from Department); safety glasses.

GENERAL EDUCATION STATEMENT
The course is a substitute for Geol 105L or Geol 106L and is approved for categories 5 and 6 of the General Education Curriculum.
OUTCOME: Students will learn how to interpret the local landscape through a series of hands-on field experiences
