Week 1

Robert Kennon will present an intensive workshop exploring “Direct Intaglio Processes” open to beginner and advanced student. These processes can be done without dangerous acids or messy corrosives. Working directly on the plate allows for spontaneity and can result in a wide variety of marks, lines, and tones. The medium will be introduced and explored through demonstration, lecture, and critique, with ample time for practice.

Week 2

An exchange portifolio will be created under supervision of PEARS director Kent Kappinger and Robert Kennon.
