October 8-10, 15-18, 2009 Director: Lori Horvik
Summary You’ll never eat lunch at a restaurant with the same degree of comfort again after seeing this docudrama recounting the year journalist Barbara Ehrenreich spent living on minimum wage. Starting as a waitress/hotel maid in Florida, then cleaning houses in Maine, and finally working at the thinly disguised Mall-Mart in Minneapolis, Barb documents the lives of the working poor in America. Nickel and Dimed offers a poignant, yet cleverly entertaining, insight into the lives of people struggling to survive. Tickets Adults: $10 Rush tickets are no longer available. Parking Due to road construction on 12th Avenue North, travel and parking may be difficult. Please check here regularly for the best available route. NDSU Fine Arts Box Office Phone: 701.231.7969
