NDSU Opera Theatre presents

ALBERT HERRING
by Benjamin Britten

One Night Only!
Friday, May 8, 2009 at 7:30 PM
Askanase Auditorium

Albert is a gullible but virtuous lad, living in the English countryside at the turn of the 20th century. When it is discovered that there aren't any village girls pure enough to be crowned May Queen, Albert is chosen as May King. The ensuing antics, including a potentially scandalous night for Albert, are filled with freshness and charm.
