When we think of "Global Business" we think of doing business with customers outside of the United States. However, "thinking globally" in business goes far beyond merely transacting business with customers in other countries. Succeeding in business in markets outside our trade area depends on having an ability to appreciate cultures and world-views outside one’s own. Having this ability to appreciate other cultures means not only coming to understand how people think and do business in other countries, it also means having the wherewithal to rapidly and successfully employ different tactics and strategies in virtually any situation, in order to compete successfully in the global marketplace.

In this seminar, our faculty of industry experts deals with the question of: what is it that makes an individual and an organization able to compete successfully in the global marketplace? And, how do you successfully penetrate markets in, for example, Europe, China, Canada or Mexico? This seminar will address what every businessperson needs to know about competing successfully in the national and international marketplace.
