The exhibition "History's Closet: Everything from Aprons to Zippers" was designed to reveal the broad range of objects that make up the Emily P. Reynolds Historic Costume Collection at NDSU. The show took place in the Memorial Union Gallery from February 28 to March 20, 2000.

Students in apparel and textiles, anthropology and education, collaborated with the curator of the collection to design and develop this introductory examination of the collection. Student exhibition designers included the following: Amanda Bren, Tavishi Loomba and Rachel Strom from Apparel/Textiles; Gwen Peterson from Anthropology; Angela Strasser from Architecture; and Wendy Johnson from Education.

A complete look at "History's Closet: Everything from Aprons to Zippers" is provided with this on-line exhibition. As indicated by the title, objects are arranged in alphabetical order. The on-line exhibition is grouped into portions of the alphabet: "A - F", "G - M", "N - T", "U - Z".
