The Emily P. Reynolds Historic Costume Collection is comprised of items donated by people interested in preserving history through dress. The collection would not exist without people believing that their items tell a story about the people who owned them and the era in which they were used.

The Collection is supported by the Department of Apparel, Textiles & Interior Design, Collection of Human Development & Education at North Dakota State University, but financial contributions from the collection's supporters help to increase is ability to preserve and to educate.
