The Department of Apparel, Textiles, and Interior Design in the College of Human Development and Education of NDSU operates the costume collection. It is housed on the fourth floor of the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Family Life Center. The collection works with the NDSU Libraries to preserve items that are part of the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection.

The Emily P. Reynolds Historic Costume Collection is open by appointment for groups and individuals by contacting the Apparel, Textiles, and Interior Design Department using any of the methods listed below. Visits can be arranged during the week, and with advanced notice on weekends.
