ASSOCIATION FOR COMPUTING MACHINERY
Organization oriented to advancing students and professionals in the information technology field. The web site contains a Career Resource Center where upon registration job positions may be posted, either online or online and print advertisements in their journal. There also is access to several other publications and information on advertising in them. And they have a Committee on Women
in Computer Science web page that has some interesting resources on it.

THE COALITION FOR DIVERSIFING COMPUTING
Group organized to promote the participation of minorities in computer related fields. They \are affiliated with several computer societies. The website includes Resource with links to many minority related career websites and several subscription based databases of interested Universities, minorities and minority graduate students.

COMPUTING RESEARCH ASSOCIATION
Membership society for academic, industry and government professionals interested in computer science, research and related fields. The website offers a Jobs page where positions may be posted; there is also a listserv that goes out to subscribers when new postings are added. The society also has a newsletter and
advertising is available though that format. And, the organization also has a
Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research,

resources about women in the field, and they provide a link to the Coalition
to Diversify Computing, an organization interested in increasing the
participation of minorities in computer fields.

COMPUTER SOCIETY
One of the largest members of the Institute of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering (IEEE) promoting computing professionals.
This website has a Career Services Center in conjunction with the IEEE job
site where job positions can be posted, resume databases pursued along
with other resources. There is also advertising information on the website for
the many journals and newsletters affiliated with the society.
