"Interviewing - Getting Beyond the Image" The 26-minute video is available
from the Equal Opportunity Office (1-7708) for use by on-campus departments.
The video is particularly appropriate for search committees and supervisors
who are conducting interviews. The video illustrates several different
types of interviewing questions and also suggests how to effectively plan,
structure and manage an interview to get the most helpful information.
"Interview Guide for Supervisors," 5th edition. This booklet is published
by the College and University Personnel Association and contains sections
on legal considerations (both general and specific), the preemployment
selection process, and information on how the Americans with Disabilities
Act affects the hiring process.
