EPSCoR Centers Development Initiative (CDI)
CDI is an EPSCoR Foundation initiative funded by
the National Science Foundation (NSF) aimed at increasing the participation
of Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR)
researchers and universities in NSF’s portfolio of centers
and large-scale programs.
CDI Provides Technical Assistance and Consulting
to University Research Teams.
CDI works closely with university research administrators and state
EPSCoR project directors to provide NSF-funded technical assistance
and consulting to university research teams in the EPSCoR states
competing for NSF centers and other large-scale projects.
For example, CDI works to:
-
Pre-review proposal drafts
-
Help identify, recruit, and support consultation from outside
experts (with scientific discipline and/or specific NSF center
program expertise)
-
Serve as an information source and provide guidance about centers
and other large-scale programs at NSF
- Help
formulate center development strategies
