Poster space is limited to 140.

Abstract Submission DEADLINE: Noon, September 3, 2009 or before if maximum number of submissions has been reached.

NOTE: Display area allotted each poster will be 4' x 4'.

below.

Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterization of Cofacial Porphyrin Complexes

Sponsor: ND EPSCoR

Synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of cofacial porphyrin complexes,
bis -[iron(III)- (2-amidophenyl)triphenyl-porphyrin] and bis -[iron(III)-(3-amidophenyl)triphenyl-   porphyrin] will be presented.

Please read and follow ALL DIRECTIONS carefully before submitting your abstract:

1) Use 9 point Arial font only. Use Single spacing.

2) Title in Upper and Lower Case and bolded. (Capitalize first letters, but do not capitalize conjunctions, articles, and short prepositions).

3) AUTHORS in UPPER CASE with an ampersand (&) between two authors, followed

by a comma and the Institution (where you conducted the research) in Upper and

Lower case.

4) Give the name of the agency or department that funded your research
(Sponsor: ND EPSCoR, NSF, etc.).

5) Type the 75-words or less abstract next with no indentations. Do NOT use hard returns.

6) Proof read all material carefully for completeness, spelling, and grammar because

your page will be imported directly into the conference poster booklet.


7) Save the completed abstract to your desktop, then submit via email attachment to Elizabeth.Jung@ndsu.edu  


8) In your email, use ABSTRACT as your Subject line, and include the following information:

• Mentor Name
• Department you are working in
• Phone number where you can be reached
• Abstract Topic Area (Select One):

- Life Sciences
- Material Sciences
- Engineering Sciences
- Physical and Mathematical Sciences
- Social Sciences
