Participation Checklist
Use these steps to guide you through the process of successfully registering and preparing for a DCE course.
Step 1. Choose a Course
Begin by searching for course you'd like to take. The "Degrees/Classes" page provides a listing of all course offerings available through DCE.
Step 2. Admission to NDSU
Once you have chosen the course that you'd like to take, you may also be required to apply for admission to NDSU. If so, you must complete the admissions process before registering. Check the link, Admission to view requirements and information.
Step 3. Apply for Financial Aid
If you plan to enroll in courses for academic credit, and have been accepted to NDSU, you may be eligible for financial aid. Other types of courses are not eligible for financial aid funding through NDSU. Student Financial Services can assist you to determine if you are eligible for financial aid and with the process of application for aid.
Step 4. Registering for a Course
If you have completed the admissions process, or do not need to apply for admission, you are ready to register. Degree eligible class registrations are handled through the Campus Connection system. Professional Development (K-12) classes are processed directly by Distance and Continuing Education.
