Seeking Special Student Status

Special Student Status is reserved for non-degree-seeking students who wish to enroll in a limited number of credit-bearing courses at NDSU. Special status students are permitted to register for up to 15 credits.

Interested students should submit a Special Student Status Application and $35 nonrefundable application fee to the Office of Admission. An official transcript of previous course work is required if you have completed any course work within one year prior to application. Mail application materials to:

If additional courses are to be taken, or to become a degree-seeking student, appropriate high school, and/or college transcripts must be submitted to be considered for admission.
