Research Programs

CNSE’s research portfolio includes a number of major, multi-year research and development programs aimed at meeting challenging needs of the U.S. government and private industry. Included among these are:

• Sensor systems and electronic programs for the military and other government agencies (microsensor systems, conformal computing and chameleon sensor network)
• Protective coatings programs for military ships (advanced marine coatings) and aircraft (durable hybrid coatings), and
• State of North Dakota Economic Development Centers of Excellence for advanced electronics design and manufacturing (CAEDM) and for surface protection (CSP).
