NDSU's Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC) was established in 2003 to provide access to secure, advanced scientific computation resources for the university's researchers and their private and public sector partners. This center also gives NDSU the ability to participate in its own program of advanced computation and networking research, allowing the school to assume an international role in the development of improved programming and networking methods.
Key Partners:
The CHPC and its research users have developed and continue to develop relationships with federal agencies, with the aim of providing information-based services such as data mining and mass data storage.
Our federal partners include the General Services Administration and the National Science Foundation.
Technical Assistance:
CHPC staff are available to assist with scientific computing issues, database set-up and database administration.
Authorized Users:
NDSU faculty members, staff, collaborators with NDSU researchers, and students sponsored by NDSU faculty and staff have authority to use the equipment.
Applying for an Account:
All CHPC users must apply for an account. Students are awarded accounts on an annual basis, which can be renewed at the discretion of their sponsors.
