Department Mission:
To provide academic programs that advance the understanding and utilization of cereal grains and other foods produced in the Northern Great Plains.

 

 

Focus:
To achieve our mission in concert with the Teaching, Research, and Outreach/Service objectives of our Land Grant University system, we will:

  • Prepare professionals for successful careers and life long learning in Cereal and Food Sciences through quality Undergraduate (BS) and Graduate (MS and Ph.D.) Programs.
  • Conduct basic and applied research to enhance the value, quality, safety, and nutrition of cereal grains and food products.
  • Serve the people of North Dakota, the Nation and the World by providing information and technical support on cereal grains and foods.
