To provide academic programs that advance the understanding and utilization of cereal grains and other foods produced in the Northern Great Plains.
Focus:
To achieve our mission in concert with the Teaching, Research, and Outreach/Service objectives of our Land Grant University system, we will:
Prepare professionals for successful careers and life long learning in Cereal and Food Sciences through quality Undergraduate (BS) and Graduate (MS and Ph.D.) Programs.
Conduct basic and applied research to enhance the value, quality, safety, and nutrition of cereal grains and food products.
Serve the people of North Dakota, the Nation and the World by providing information and technical support on cereal grains and foods.
