Profile
Erik is the principal-in-charge of the LarsonAllen Manufacturing and Distribution Group. He has gained experience serving a wide variety of medium-sized, closely-held manufacturing and distribution businesses in both a financial and operational capacity.
Experience in serving clients
Erik’s experience has ranged from traditional assurance and tax advisory services to advising clients on continuous improvement, modeling customer and product profitability, developing and implementing performance measurement systems, strategic planning and performing extensive due diligence associated with mergers and acquisitions. His ability to integrate business process is used in successful inventory management, work simplification and organizational assessments.
Educational/professional involvement
Erik has been actively involved in the manufacturing and distribution industries as a member, speaker and volunteer to local and national industry associations. He is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Minnesota Precision Manufacturer’s Association (MPMA) and the Manufacturer’s Alliance. He previously served on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s (AICPA) Performance Measurement Task Force, focusing on the development of non-financial performance indicators for manufacturing and distribution companies. He has written and spoken on a variety of manufacturing topics from performance measurement to continuous improvement to groups such as the Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing International (CAM-I) and the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA).
Erik is a member of the AICPA and Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA).He graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
