Thomas D. Dowdell, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in accounting from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he also was an instructor/research assistant. He has published research in Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Canadian Accounting Perspectives, Financial Management and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. While at Temple, he received research assistantships for four years and was a doctoral consortium fellow.
