Post-Interview Follow-up

Follow-up by sending a hand-written thank you note promptly (or type a letter to the interviewer). If you have learned that a hiring decision will be made quickly (within 24 hours), an email may be substituted for mailed correspondence. If it is a group interview, you will want to direct your gratitude to each of the interviewers by listing each name.

Evaluate the information that you received during the interview about the position, the company and the work climate, so that if a job offer is made you will be prepared to ask questions that will assist you in making a decision about whether or not to accept it.
