What is the Engineering & Tech Expo?
The Engineering & Tech Expo is an annual event attended by students
in engineering & technology majors. The expo provides an excellent opportunity
to connect with
students
to discuss or interview for current and/or future career-related employment
and co-op/internship opportunities. Last year over 1100 students attended
this event.

When and How do I receive
information about the Expo?
Registration for the Expo will begin
May 1, 2008.
You will automatically receive registration
information for the Expo if you are
registered with the NDSU Career Center
using eRecruiting and have recruited for engineering or tech majors.

How do I register for the
Expo?
Registration will begin on May 1, 2008.
Registration deadline is Wednesday, September
10 at noon.
If registering after the September 10, deadline; registration fee will
be $700.
Call 701-231-7112 to see if space is available.

What is the registration
fee?
The registration fee for the Expo is $350 for two reps and
$25 for each additional rep.
The registration fee must be paid before the September 10th deadline
to ensure your spot. If registering after the September 10
deadline; registration fee will be $700.

What does the registration
fee include?
The registration fee includes one eight-foot table, tablecloth, chairs,
breakfast rolls, refreshments, and box lunch.

How can I pay the registration
fee?
The registration fee may be paid by check or credit card and must be
received by September 24 to avoid a late fee.
Checks should be made payable to NDSU Career Center and
mailed to the
NDSU Career Center

What is the cancellation/refund
policy?
Engineering & Tech Expo: Cancellation notification is appreciated
so we may inform students. Refund of the registration fee
will be given for cancellations received by September 10. There is no
refund
of the registration fee for cancellations after September 10.

What is an employer
presentation?
Employers are given a 12 minute presentation time-slot if they select this option
on the registration form. These presentations are given during the hours of the
Expo in an area close to the Expo floor. There are limited slots available and
are given on a first request basis.

What is an electronic
ad and how do I purchase one?
Electronic ads will be displayed on the Fargodome’s four jumbo display screens
during the Engineering & Tech Expo.
They will also be displayed on the Engineering & Tech Expo webpage. The ad will
cost $200 and may include a logo and short statement. If interested, contact
Kim Teske at 701-231-7112.
Deadline for purchasing ad is Wednesday, September
10.

What Colleges and Majors
does NDSU offer?
There are eight colleges at North Dakota State University.

What students will be invited
to the expo?
NDSU undergraduate and graduate students in all engineering and technology related majors are invited and
encouraged to attend the Expo. NDSU alumni are welcome
to attend the Expo as well.
We also invite students from the Minnesota State University Moorhead Construction Management and Industrial Technology departments.
The expo is not open to the general public.

Where do I ship displays and
materials for the Expo?

- There will be a $25 fee
(payable to The UPS Store) for delivery of display/materials
to the
Fargodome.
REQUIRED: Contact
Jeff, The UPS Store at 701-235-9505 to arrange payment and delivery.

Displays may be shipped up to one week in advance of the event to the
UPS Store.
- NOTE: The NDSU Career Center and the Fargodome will not accept displays/materials.

Where is the Expo held?
The Expo will be held in the Fargodome.

Where can I unload my vehicle
for the Expo?
- Unloading and parking will take place at the NORTH end of the
Fargodome
- You may drive your vehicle into the loading dock entrance and
drive down on the Fargodome floor
- Students will be available to assist in the unloading/loading
process
- Parking is FREE; no permit required.

Who should I contact to
set up interviews after the Expo?
Interviews will be conducted at the Fargodome the day
following the Expo. To reserve interview table(s), contact
