Appropriate to wear to an Interview?
Accounting - With a longer skirt or pants.Education / K-12 - Yes, the cut and the fit are well done and the dark and light indicate an understanding of 'dressing for success'. I would suggest a skirt that is a bit longer for comfort in sitting and standing; however, it does not look so tight that the person would be tugging at in order to create the right look.
Engineering - Manufacturing - Maybe.
Engineering - Manufacturing - No because of length of skirt.
Hospitality - Yes, this is appropriate for a full-service hotel or high-end restaurant management position.
Information Technology - Yes. The suit may look more professional and less busy if a camisole or button down shirt were worn under the jacket.
Marketing - The shoes are perfect and I like the look overall. Her attire says "I know how to dress for an interview but I don't have to be so boring or basic about it."
Medical Device / Biotechnology - This is appropriate to wear to an interview. Longer skirt would show a little more conservative approach.
Retail Merchandising - If the skirt were just an inch or two longer it would be OK for an interview. The jacket would also look nice with black pants. Even though it is patterned, the black and white check is quite classic.
Ag Business, Ag Lending, Ag Processing, Engineering - Civil/Construction, Engineering - Construction, Financial, Healthcare, Health Insurance - Yes.
Appropriate to wear to a Career Fair?
Accounting - With a longer skirt or pants.Education / K-12 - This is excellent for a career event. This outfit says "I get it" in clear terms. Shoes alone will change this outfit from one level to another.
Hospitality - Yes, this could be worn for a career meeting where professionalism is very important.
Marketing - Yes. She will stand out.
Medical Device / Biotechnology - This is appropriate to wear to a career event. Longer skirt would show a little more conservative approach.
Retail Merchandising - Probably OK for a career event although I think the skirt is still a bit short. Maybe lower-heeled shoes would help for a career event. The skirt would not be as short and it would be more comfortable.
Ag Business, Ag Lending, Ag Processing, Engineering - Civil/Construction, Engineering - Construction, Engineering - Manufacturing, Financial, Healthcare, Health Insurance, Information Technology - Yes.
