First Impression?

Accounting - Needs a jacket.

Ag Business - Fine.

Ag Lending - Okay, but a little too casual. Could be worn to work if dress code is business-casual.

Ag Processing - This would be fine.

Education / K-12 - Not yet ready to go out and meet others.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - OK.

Engineering - Construction - This individual looks OK, but falls a little short of projecting a professional image.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Pretty casual.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Business-casual.

Financial - Business-casual.

Healthcare - OK, nothing special.

Hospitality - This person is a doer. Willing to go the extra mile.

Information Technology - This outfit looks professional and put together well.

Marketing - Clean. Fits nicely. Soccer mom.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - Casual.

Retail Merchandising - A nice business/casual type of outfit. Blouse is a little tight or looks that way in the pose of the model.

Appropriate to wear to an Interview?

Ag Business - Yes. Might be too plain.

Ag Lending - Yes, only if a jacket is worn with it.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - I think it is just a little too casual.

Engineering - Manufacturing - No, probably want to be more formal.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Yes, but would dress it up a bit with a scarf or jacket, would be office appropriate once you get the job.

Healthcare - Maybe, if not for a professional position.

Hospitality - Only for a first-time supervisory position.

Information Technology - Adding a suit jacket will make the outfit look even more professional and fitting for an interview.

Marketing - If it is an informational interview at a coffee shop, yes. Otherwise, it could use an extra layer of "ooomph."

Medical Device / Biotechnology - This is not appropriate to wear to an interview.

Retail Merchandising - It would be better if she added a jacket or sweater to the outfit. Then it would be appropriate for most any interview. As it is, it might be appropriate for an interview for a part-time position in retail or sales of some kind, including food service. The shirt-tail makes it too casual for a professional interview.

Accounting, Education / K-12, Financial - No.

Ag Processing, Engineering - Construction - Yes.

Appropriate to wear to a Career Fair?

Education / K-12 - It is better than the jeans, but it appears that the person is not going to a career event rather meeting someone they know for coffee.

Hospitality - Only if the event is very business-casual.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - This is not appropriate to wear to a career event.

Financial - No.

Accounting, Ag Business, Ag Lending, Ag Processing, Engineering - Civil/Construction, Engineering - Construction, Engineering - Manufacturing, Engineering - Manufacturing, Healthcare, Information Technology, Marketing, Retail Merchandising - Yes.
