First Impression?

Accounting - She should have a jacket on, sleeveless is not professional.

Ag Business - Good.

Ag Lending - It looks nice, but would look better with a jacket or the shoulders covered. Looks like something to be worn at a wedding.

Ag Processing - Professional look and appears like she is confident.

Education / K-12 - Great outfit for going out on the town.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - Good. I don't mind the sleeveless look. A jacket would really enhance the professional look, and definitely eliminate any "evening gown" impression.

Engineering - Construction - This individual does look professional.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Looks more like formal-wear than business-wear.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Looks like she is going to a dinner party.

Financial - Too formal.

Healthcare - Dressy. Ready for a wedding party.

Health Insurance - Very nice and professional.

Hospitality - This person looks confident and is ready to take on anything.

Information Technology - This outfit looks more fitting to attend a dinner party verses an interview.

Marketing - Looks great. Perfect for summer. Great shoes.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - Classy, professional.

Retail Merchandising - This is a nice dress and fits well. It would be a great outfit to wear to the office in the summer if sleeveless styles were permitted.

Appropriate to wear to an Interview?

Accounting - With a jacket.

Ag Lending - Yes, if worn with a jacket or sweater.

Education / K-12 - This is not appropriate unless the interview is in a dressy or formal setting. Adding a jacket would change this look.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - Probably.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Maybe with a jacket. Sleeveless in the workplace is a no-no.

Healthcare - Maybe if there were a jacket. If the material is very light weight and sheer, may not be.

Hospitality - This is appropriate attire for an interview for first-level supervisory or economy management position.

Information Technology - No. If a suit jacket were added it may look more professional.

Marketing - I am okay with the sleeveless. It is professional look, stylish and graceful. However, some companies have a dress code that scraps the sleeveless option. That may not be a good first impression.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - This would be appropriate to wear to an interview.

Retail Merchandising - It would be fine for an interview if she added a jacket or a cardigan sweater.

Engineering - Manufacturing, Financial - No.

Ag Business, Ag Processing, Engineering - Construction, Health Insurance - Yes.

Appropriate to wear to a Career Fair?

Accounting - With a jacket.

Ag Lending - No, too dressy.

Education / K-12 - Wonderful for a career event.

Engineering - Manufacturing - No, way too formal.

Hospitality - Yes, to almost all business meetings and events.

Information Technology - No. If a suit jacket were added it may look more professional.

Marketing - I would say yes, but most would ask her to wear a cardigan or a blazer.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - This would be appropriate to wear to a career event.

Retail Merchandising - Possibly for a career event this would be appropriate if it were warm enough that people were not surprised at the sleeveless style. Otherwise, adding a jacket or sweater would make it even better.

Engineering - Manufacturing, Financial, Healthcare - No.

Ag Business, Ag Processing, Engineering - Civil/Construction, Engineering - Construction, Health Insurance - Yes.
