First Impression?

Accounting - Skirt is too short.

Ag Business - OK. Borderline.

Ag Lending - Looks like something to be worn at a party or on a date. Skirt too short and tight.

Ag Processing - She looks like she would be a good candidate for sales (clothing, jewelry etc..)

Education / K-12 - Cute.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - My first impression is that the skirt is a little too short.

Engineering - Construction - This could be a problem employee.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Kind of racy.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Looks like individual is going out to Old Broadway for the night.

Financial - Too leggy.

Healthcare - NA

Health Insurance - Nice suit but the skirt is a bit short for a professional environment.

Hospitality - This person likes to have fun and will do anything to stand out in the crowd. She seems to have a very extroverted personality. May not always be believed.

Information Technology - The length of the skirt gives the whole look and suit a less than professional picture. The suit is nice, but too revealing for an interview.

Marketing - Ally McBeal or a Vanity store manager.

Medical Device / Biotechnology - NA

Retail Merchandising - The skirt is much too short and tight.

Appropriate to wear to an Interview?

Ag Business - No. I would go more conservative.

Ag Processing - Yes, if it fits the position she is applying for.

Education / K-12 - The dark suit idea is excellent. The skirt length diminishes the professional look and could not be used later with comfort.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - No. I tend to be very careful about any suggestive attire.

Engineering - Manufacturing - Definitely not.

Healthcare - Looks good until I saw the length of the skirt. Just a bit too short.

Health Insurance - Yes.

Hospitality - The impression given would be important if the person is applying for sales/marketing position for a hospitality facility.

Information Technology - No. The skirt needs to be a few inches longer.

Marketing - If she is working in Ally McBeal's office, yes. In a major market, skirt length isn't as touchy a subject. In this area, it is too short. NYC, fine. If she is working in the fashion industry, it must reflect the trends and last season, this was the trend. A conservative ND company, it's too short and the shoes are inappropriate.

Retail Merchandising - With a different skirt and shoes it would be fine. The jacket is a good choice. She should also wear her hair pulled back for an interview.

Accounting, Ag Lending, Engineering - Construction, Engineering - Manufacturing, Financial, Medical Device/Biotechnology - No.

Appropriate to wear to a Career Fair?

Ag Business - Don't let the outfit define your personality. This might be fine with some but you don't want to hurt your chances with those who might think that this looks too sexy.

Ag Processing - Yes, if she is in fashion/design.

Education / K-12 - This would be appropriate only outside of the workplace with adults.

Engineering - Civil/Construction - Probably not.

Healthcare - Possibly. Add pants instead unless there is a little longer skirt.

Health Insurance - Yes.

Hospitality - If the person is in sales and marketing, this would be acceptable, though the skirt could be a bit longer.

Information Technology - No. The skirt needs to be a few inches longer.

Marketing - Probably not.

Retail Merchandising - With a different skirt and shoes it would be fine. The jacket is a good choice. She should also wear her hair pulled back for an interview.

Accounting, Ag Lending, Engineering - Construction, Engineering - Manufacturing, Engineering - Manufacturing, Financial, Medical Device/Biotechnology - No.
