DRESS FOR SUCCESS at a career fair, interview, or on the job

woman in black shuit, white blouse, red beaded necklace, black pump shoes
What is your First Impression?
  • A nice suit; Tuck in the shirt underneath and keep the hair groomed a little better

  • Professional and simple, but could use a splash of color to make her appear more dynamic and engaging; A little bit more trendy, but still very appropriate!

  • Appropriate, a black suit is always safe
  • Stylish, but shirt should be tucked in

  • Very nice, stylish look

  • Confident

  • Not inappropriate and doesn't put her at a disadvantage in a casual conversation - She dressed professionally in an outfit you'd see in the office at work in our company; First thought I had though, is that a lot of black/dark in the outfit sets a tone of conservatism

Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?

  • Very impressive; Shows that extra effort was put forth for the opportunity to making a first impression on an influencer or possible employer
  • Appropriate to wear to a career fair
  • Stylish, but shirt should be tucked in

  • Very nice choice

  • Prepared

Is this appropriate for an Interview?
  • Appropriate to wear to an interview
  • Professional and very appropriate!

  • Shirt should be tucked in to look more professional

  • Very professional and impressive

  • Should tuck shirt in for the interview

  • Ok for an internship interview probably; For full time interviews, I would not recommend V-neck shirts/top for an interview
