What is your First Impression?
  • Great first impression
  • Savvy, entrepreneurial - Could be a sales rep, business relationship manager or entrepreneur; The mix of business attire and the casual open shirt top works
  • Nice suit - but without the tie it is too relaxed for professional position

Is this appropriate for a Career Fair?

  • I think he will be comfortable at a career fair - He looks comfortable; Posture may indicate that he is very confident
  • I like this for a career fair - Professional but not overdone; The coat isn't necessary from my point of view, but doesn't hurt either

  • Okay

Is this appropriate for an Interview?

  • For an internship interview, wouldn't change anything. For full time interview on campus, might consider wearing a tie but this outfit doesn't need that. You could walk in, project confidence and competence and get hired pretty easily; If you're being invited to the company’s corporate center for interviews, I'd probably default to adding the tie
  • This person looks like they have been working and know what is acceptable to wear
  • Depends on position; West coast - definitely ok!

  • If you put on the suit - you better finish it with the tie; Otherwise, put on a polo shirt
