John and Susan Wold
International Study Scholarship
The John and Susan Wold International Study Scholarship is a scholarship in the amount of $1000 that is awarded annually for the period of at least one semester of study abroad.* Preference is given to students who are North Dakota or Minnesota residents and who are studying abroad for a full academic year (Fall and Spring). Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
*Note: The $1000 may be divided into two separate smaller awards

REQUIREMENTS
- You will be studying abroad for at least one semester (preference given to full academic year--Fall and Spring)
- You are a ND or MN resident
- You have a 3.0 GPA or higher at time of application
- Have applied for a study abroad program
- Submit your application by April 1, 2008.
There is a service component to the receipt of this scholarship. Upon your return to the United States and NDSU, you will share your experiences and newly acquired knowledge about your host country and university through presentations and meetings at NDSU, local business or community groups, and through Peer Mentoring to students interested in study abroad.
Applications for the John and Susan Wold International Study Scholarship will be considered only when the following documents have been received in full:
