About Leeds Metropolitan University

LMU has over 41,000 students, with about 25,000 of them studying at the two main campuses in Leeds - Headingley Campus, which is five kilometers to the north of the city, and the Civic Quarter Campus in the city center.  Travel between the two campuses and student residential areas is easy.

Subjects available for exchange students include Accounting and Finance, Business, Computing, Cultural Studies, Design, Education, Film, TV & Performing Arts, Health Sciences, Information Management, Landscape Architecture, Exercise & Physical Education, Social Sciences and Tourism, Hospitality and Events.

About Leeds

Leeds has a population of 750,000 - 50,000 of which are students. The city is geared to students’ needs and has a vibrant nightlife, excellent cultural attractions and some of the best sports facilities in the UK.  Leeds is friendly and cosmopolitan, within a few hours distance of London, and the cost of living is lower than in many parts of the UK.

A great part of spending a semester at LMU is all the time you will have to explore the gorgeous surrounding countryside.  Leeds is a short distance from three of England's well-known national parks: The Lake District, The Peak District, and the Yorkshire Dales.

Eligibility: 
minimum 2.5 GPA.  Sophomores may study at Leeds but are limited to Level 1 courses.

Length of Study: Limited to one semester


Cost for a semester:
NDSU tuition and fees, plus these additional costs (approximate):
Application & SA Fees: $125
Housing
: $2,500
Food: $2,500
Books: $500
Roundtrip airfare: $1,500
Spending Money: $2,000
(The above costs are estimates only--allow for fluctuating exchange rates and differences in personal spending habits. Beyond tuition expenses, Leeds Met recommends that students plan for about $6,000 to cover their housing and other living costs per semester.)
