Assessment Reports

Authors and contributors to departmental or unit reports of the assessment
of student learning may wish to review the following items to assure complete
presentation of activities:

Were the intended student outcomes modified from those used previously?
If so, was an updated "Chart" of intended learning outcomes included?

Was the report based on the current intended student learning outcomes?
-
Are the outcomes identified with the learning objectives of the major?
(Are the outcomes a reflection of the mission statement or strategic plan?)

Was the evidence used in this report related to the learning outcomes?
-
Did the evidence used in this report verify student achievement?
-
Was sufficient evidence of student learning presented? Were valid
methods used to collect the evidence of student learning?
-
Are the assessment activities described adequately?
-
Were the conclusions appropriate for the evidence in the report?
Are the plans to use the results realistic?
